Kilfearagh Holy Well, Tobar Fiachra
The well lies a few hundred metres east of the old Kilfearagh Church and graveyard. The well site is beside a bungalow, on private grazing ground. It takes the form of a jumble of stones and brambles, with a large slab...
Saint Brendan's Well, Tobar Breandáin, Farrihy
The well, now difficult to discern, was located at the top of the tide mark. However few traces of the site remain. The well has no clear designation and would require a local’s knowledge to identify its exact site.
Saint Caoidhe's Holy Well, Tobar Caoidhe, Toberkee
The holy well of Saint Caoidhe stands on the cliff top at Foohagh, overlooking the Atlantic and the sea stack known as Bishop's Island. It stands on the mainland a little to the east of the sea stack. The well is in a modern well house, which protects it from the weather. The well site is grassed and has some flower planting.
Saint Senan's Well, Termon East
This is a very unusual holy well. The 'well' consists of a large water tank about measuring roughly 3 metres x 2 metres x 2 metres, standing in the high grasses of a salt-water creek. Here it captures and retains fresh water from an aquifer beneath. The existing water tank has been in place since the 1940s.
Saint Senan's Well, Tobar Sheanáin, Kilkee Upper
This well is located in the town of Kilkee at the end of a short lane appropriately called 'The Well Road'. The well is in an old style cut-stone well house at the west side of the town. It is protected by a railing. Beside the well house runs a stream, locally known as 'The Victoria Stream'...
Tobernamanorha, Tobar na mBan Orá, Baunmore
This well is indicated as lying close to the old Killbeg cemetery, in the field that surrounds the graveyard. It was said to be in an area of the field a little to the north east against a hedge. However, at the time of the research visit no trace of the well could be found.
