Reading Your Local Landscape

The Reading Your Local Landscape training course enables community members to discover the unique heritage resources of their own local area. The course has been underway in various locations in County Clare since 2018.

Over an action packed 20 weeks, the participants explore geology, biodiversity, archaeology and architecture through class and field trip sessions. They then apply their learning in producing individual studies, based on their particular heritage interest.

In this section of the website, we invite you to explore their findings and experience the aspects of local heritage they have uncovered.
